The SRM Institute of Science and Technology Center of Excellence for Data Quality exists to satisfy the data and statistical literacy needs of students, working professionals and senior executives worldwide.

The center for excellence facilitates open discussion and learning for its members in the advancement and implementation capabilities for digital transformation that lead to advancements in autonomous “Data Driven Decision Making” (DDDM) utilizing the latest technology.

In an era driven by data-centric decision-making, organisations across academia, government, not-for-profit, and commercial sectors face increasing challenges in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of their data. To address these challenges and build future-ready talent, this proposal outlines a Centre of Excellence (CoE) on Data Quality that will deliver specialised training, research, and capacity-building programmes tailored to five distinct audience groups.

The CoE will function as a multi-sectoral knowledge hub aimed at enhancing data governance, quality assurance, and data-driven decision-making through targeted interventions.
