Joseph A. Yacura

The Founder

Mr. Yacura is the Founder of the International Association for Data Quality, Governance and Analytics. He has more than 30 years of supply chain experience and has held senior executive roles at IBM, Pacific Bell, American Express, InterContinental Hotels Group, Bank of America, Information Services Group and Fannie Mae. He serves on multiple academic and professional advisory boards and has published over 50 articles on supply chain management, risk management, data quality and autonomous intelligent systems.

Education: M.B.A. (Finance) and M.S. (Accounting), Binghamton University; M.Q.M. (Quality Management), Loyola University; completed the Senior Executive Program, Stanford University.

Academic and advisory roles: Affiliated Graduate Faculty, University of Arkansas School of Information Science; visiting professor, Bharath University (India); former lecturer, Sonoma State University (Operations Research and Supply Chain Management); co‑author of the annual Data Quality and Governance Study (NC State Poole School of Management). He is a board member of the California Council for Excellence and a Senior Advisor to the MIT Chief Data Officer Information Quality program.
